“Xylem-leads insights at DCU Water Café”

Xylem kicked off the November #DCUWaterCafe with some really interesting topics of discussion at DCU today. Ben Johnson – Technical Sales Manager in Research gave a number of insights into a company that solely focuses on Water Testing, Treatment and Transport. An international company with over 23,000 employees Ben demonstrated the vast amount of work they are carrying out globally. In particular, http://www.citi-sense.eu/ which is a very interesting project they have worked on to get citizens involved in their environment. Ben was also joined by Paul Crimmins of Carl Stuart who work with Xylem on numerous analytical testing equipment.

Ben said they see the future in their business at the moment is in leakage and demonstrates the amazing Smart Ball technology they have just invested into which detects leaks remotely.
