PSP – Cuba Libre!

In the middle of all this water sampling there was just enough time to pop across the Caribbean to Cuba for a week. A nice break from water sampling, and a ‘must add’ to any bucket list. From the busy streets of Havana to the cobbled roads of quiet Trinidad and back again the music, history, culture, and more, all made for a very interesting week. From vintage car rides, Buena Vista Social Club shows, scuba diving in the Bay of Pigs and horse trekking in the Topes Collantes National Park. Classic cars and whitewashed buildings in areas where tourists might visit, but stray off the beaten path to get a sense of the ‘real’ Cuba, still beautiful and interesting, but in a much different way.
