ALICE Project News

As part of collaboration between the ESIPP and ALICE (H2020 RISE) projects, Dr Lorna Fitzsimons has been on secondment to Northern Ireland Water for 4 weeks. The objective of the collaboration is to explore the water – energy nexus and to trial software tools to aid in wastewater treatmment plant management.
During this time she gave a workshop talk at the University of Ulster entitled  ‘Accelerate innovation in urban wastewater management for climate change’. The secondment also involved a site visit to Belfast wastewater treatment plant.
