The Water Institute in partnership with the DCU Educational Trust is delighted to be awarded the Glas Communities Fund 2021.
The Glas Communities Fund is a €200,000 Fund created by Rethink Ireland in partnership with Ornua Co-operative Limited and the Department of Rural and Community Development via the Dormant Accounts Fund. The Water Institute will provide a platform for water quality citizen science to take place in both rural and urban areas monitoring water from source to sea.
The project will enable community groups to develop, build and grow green sustainable communities in Ireland.
