Book Chapter Published in Instrumentation and Measurement Technologies for Water Cycle Management

DCU Water Institute members, Dr. Joyce O’Grady, Dr. Ciprian Briciu Burghina, and Prof. Fiona Regan are thrilled to announce the publication of Chapter 14: Catchment-Based Water Monitoring Using a Hierarchy of Sensor Types in the magnificent book “ Instrumentation and Measurement Technologies for Water Cycle Management”, edited by Dr. Anna Di Mauro, Dr. Andrea Scozzari and Dr. Francesco Soldovieri.

“This book aims at providing an updated framework of observational techniques, sensing technologies and data processing approaches for water management and protection. In the frame of data analytics, attention is given to the synergy between different sensing systems and between measurements and modelling approaches. The coexistence in this book of measurement techniques, sensing methods and data science implications for the observation of water systems, emphasize the strong link between measurement aspects and computational and modelling aspects that characterises the whole water sector,” state the editors.
