In the blue that is painted blue
Listening to the Gipsy Kings on my morning walk, belting out Volare – their upbeat version is a good pace to walk at, I think.
The song was first produced by Franco Migliacci and Domenico Modugno in 1958.
Volare, oh oh
Cantare, oh oh oh oh
Let’s fly way up to the clouds
Away from the maddening crowds
Well no maddening crowds these days and in fact, we are unsure if we will go back to that. On May 8th, French philosopher Bruno Latour, a life-long environmental activist, was advocating for no return to pre-lockdown normal. He invites people to resist a return to the old ways as governments ease restrictions.[1]
