The Institute has secured €1.3 million in Horizon Europe funding across four key projects:

  • COMPAS (€300K): Enhancing water management through advanced monitoring.
  • AquaBioSens (€500K): Developing biosensor technologies for real-time water quality assessment.
  • Water4All STARDUST (€250K): Addressing emerging contaminants in global water systems.
  • One Blue (€200K): Supporting sustainable blue economy monitoring.

Additionally, DCU is playing a vital role in the €400 million PARC initiative, which assesses risks from chemicals,
