The main objective of the EXEMPLAR project is to improve wastewater treatment in meat processing plants with a focus on sustainability, cost efficiency and environmentally friendly solutions. To achieve this goal, a number of research projects are being undertaken by DCU Water Institute to improve wastewater treatment in meat and other food processing plants.
