Water Institute Technical Intern

The Water Institute are seeking an enthusiastic candidate with a MEng or MSc. in Engineering, Analytical Science, Physics, Environmental Science or equivalent and a keen interest in environmental monitoring to work as part of a multidisciplinary team on numerous water related projects. These projects will involve working with various companies with interests in Water. The projects will range in areas so a multidisciplinary skilled person is essential. Each of the projects will require technical expertise and a completed report so technical writing skills are essential along with good communication skills as face to face meetings with the companies are essential. The candidate will also be required to extract information from current and ongoing projects within the Water Institute to provide and update our knowledge transfer reporting system.

  • An excellent communicator
  • Experience dealing with Industry
  • Project Coordinator

This is a prestigious Water Institute Internship offering an 11 month contract to a suitable candidate. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with water experts, avail of training in management, technical and other relevant skills that will contribute to career progression.

The position is placed on Pt 1 of the research assistant scale.
