Biomimicry – Sustainable Innovation Inspired by Nature

Today’s blog is short and sweet but something that’s absolutely fascinating –  Biomimicry.

This is a practice that learns from and mimics the strategies found in nature to solve human design challenges. Biomimicry can lead us to getting to sustainable solutions, faster by studying the biological blueprints that have been successful over millennia. [1]

Biomimicry, nature based solutions and bio design can help us innovate and provide solutions to reverse climate change.

“When we look at what is truly sustainable, the only real model that has worked over long periods of time is the natural world.”

-Janine Benyus
