This month is we will be holding a series of themed events around World Water Day which will take place on March 22nd. We will be holding our Water Cafe along with a number of other discussions around Water. World Water Day is an annual UN observance day that highlights the importance of freshwater. The theme for 2019 is to “Leave no one behind” and encourages people to consider marginalised groups as these are often overlooked and discriminated against when they try to access safe water. We would be delighted if you could follow the campaign on twitter and please leave your comments here. As part of the Water Institutes strategy 2019-2021, People and Ethics are core to its strategic pillars. “Leave no one behind” is such an integral part of our overall message and we will do our best to make an global impact.
