Water Officer Ruth Clinton and Dr Ciprian Briciu-Burghina visited the Celtic Voyager in Galway this month. The visit was organised by Enterprise Ireland and the Marine Institute. The team were delighted to tour the wonderful vessel and find out about the amazing research that it does along with a rare glimpse of the ROV used on many important Irish projects.
The Voyager, facilitates the collection of fisheries, geophysical, oceanographic and environmental data and is also used to provide practical training for the next generation of marine scientists.
